n the waning centuries of the 41st millennium, a deadly alien race drifted in from the void to consume all biomass in the galaxy. They were the Tyranids.

All species in the galaxy are prey to the Tyranids, but the size of the Imperium of Man has meant that it has had the most contact with the Xenos. In waves of thousands of bio-ships and trillions of bio-warriors, the Tyranid Hive Fleets have obliterated entire star systems. Only massed armies and navies have been able to stand against the Tyranids during the Tyrannic Wars. However, the Tyranids evolve with each Apocalyptic battle and now Hive Fleet Leviathan is cutting a bloody swathe from below the galactic plane toward Terra.
