ULTIMATE DEVASTATION

W e all know that there are some Space Marine Chapters (and Chaos Space Marine Legions) that live for the opportunity to get hold of as many big guns as they can find, point them at the enemy and slaughter every last one of them from a safe distance. Both the Iron Warriors and Imperial Fists love to hammer their foes from afar, and every loyalist Space Marine Chapter has a 9th Company dedicated to the tactical deployment of heavy weaponry. If you want to prove to yourself (and your friends) that overwhelming firepower is the way to win battles, 10 Devastator (or Havoc) squads would be a good place to start. Just be sure to keep clear, overlapping arcs of fire. Once one of your squads gets charged, you'll not have any Assault Marines, Raptors or Terminators to help them out, so you have to be certain of killing the enemy before the foe gets that close.
