Beasts of Chaos Armybook

When building a Warhammer army, the best place to begin is its respective Army Book. These books are indispensable, not only providing you with the complete rules and army lists for your Beasts of Chaos army, but also giving you guides for painting, assembling, and selecting your army. Plus, you'll learn the background story of these terrible creatures, a story you can find nowhere else.

Warhammer Armies: Beasts of Chaos is one in a series of Warhammer Armies supplements. Each book in the series provides an in-depth description of an army, its history, and its heroes. Inside you will find:

The Wild Herd
A complete description of all the troops that make up the armies of the Beastmen.

Magic and Trophies of the Beast
Full rules for Beastmen Bray-Shamans and the three Chaos spell lores, magic item descriptions, and details on the Marks of the Chaos Gods.

Beastlords of Dread Legend
Rules for your army to include the mighty Beastlord Gorthor, the cunning Khazrak the One-Eye and his vicious beast-hound Redmaw, and the twisted embodiment of Chaos itself, Morghur, Master of Skulls, who mutates all who approach him.

Collecting a Beastmen Army
This reference for collectors introduces the miniatures and suggests color schemes for your Beastmen army.

PestigorThe Beasts of Chaos army is a truly varied force that contains all manner of disturbing and powerful creatures rallying under one banner. Their vicious raids strike without warning, and they are intent only on mayhem and slaughter. Their bestial appearance belies the cunning intelligence of the Beastmen, and their ambushes are enacted with brutal swiftness. Beasts of Chaos concentrate on closing with their foes and rending them limb-from-limb, and it is in close combat that the Beasts excel. The Beastmen rampage towards the foe in great and unruly hordes and are backed up by such fearsome creatures as Minotaurs, savage Centigors, and the horrendously powerful Dragon Ogres.

The Beasts of Chaos Army Book is not just a stand-alone book – it is also fully compatible with Warhammer Armies: Hordes of Chaos and can use army list entries, special rules, and magic items from that volume. Details of how to do so can be found in the relevant sections of the Beasts of Chaos Army Book.

Once you get the Army Book in your hands, you'll need some troops to command and form the core of your growing army. Next, we'll take a look at the Beast Herd boxed set, the perfect place to find your first recruits.
