Be Fangs and Claws for You
PAINTING BEASTMEN PLASTICS

Page: 1|2|3|4|5|6

steps 1 - 3

1: Working over top of a Bestial Brown undercoat, paint a wash of a 50/50 mix of Scorched Brown and water over all of the exposed skin areas of the Beastman.

2: Go back in and paint your fur the desired base colour. In this case, John used Shadow Grey as it is a colour used throughout his army.

3: Drybrush the fur carefully with a lighter shade of the base colour. Go with a highlight colour that will really stand out. Space Wolves Grey was used in the example above.

PAINTING TIP
Note the order of the steps that John has taken. He gets all of the messy steps like drybrushing and applying washes out of the way first so that any mistakes will be covered up with more careful painting later. This is a great practice that will save you a lot of time and touch up headaches in the long run.
