MAKING TREES OF CHAOS

What better way to boost your terrain collection than giant mutated trees bent to the purpose of the Chaos gods? Here are three such trees with complete step-by-step photos displaying how they grew from tiny seedlings to mighty trunked terrors of the forest.

A Gallows Tree

With the release of the Beasts of Chaos range, we decided to present our readers with some ideas for the dwellings and dark idols of the Beastmen. We know that the majority of the foul goat-headed creatures conceal their movements under the eaves of the forest. Thus, terrain that adheres to a wooded theme is appropriate for most Beastmen generals.

If you went through the effort to make a tree for your Beastmen army like one of the three showcased here, wouldn't it be nice to have a scenario to go with it? Well, the Destroy the Chaos Heart scenario could certainly be used without a problem. Just replace all instances of "Herdstone" with "My Mutated Chaos Tree".
