Marshalling The Bretonnian Host
GETTING STARTED WITH THE BRETONNIANS

Assembling, Painting, and Playing. We take you through the steps of marshalling your own Bretonnian levy: from assembling to playing, with a sample army list to get you started.

Bretonnian Grail Knight

The land of Bretonnia is steeped in legend and myth – it hosts a culture founded on the most heroic of ideals. From this realm come the noble knights of Bretonnia. Charging into battle in the name of the Lady of the Lake and their king, they are a fearsome force to behold. When the knights are used in combination with the loyal men-at-arms commoners, the Bretonnians can stand against any foe that threatens their homeland.

Collecting, painting, and fielding a brand new army for Warhammer may seem a bit daunting at first. Fear not! On the following pages, you'll find a bunch of useful information on how to assemble your models and then give them a basic paint job with a minimal number of colours. There's even a fun scenario you can play with only 200 points of Bretonnians, so you can start playing while you gradually amass your Bretonnian army.

It's time to get started, so gather your clippers, glue, paints, and your army book. Armies don't paint themselves you know!
