nder the leadership of Huron Blackheart, the Red Corsairs have grown into a military force to be reckoned with, and their raids out of the Maelstrom have become more frequent and bloody over the decades. Huron's power has spread quickly, as he has welded together a piratical empire of heretics and renegades. His dreaded Space Marines became the Red Corsairs, named after the blood-red colour they used to obliterate their old Imperial heraldry and symbols. The artifice pleased Huron greatly, and all of the renegade Space Marines who have since joined him have taken these colours as their own to show their new allegiance.

ARMY SUMMARY

This Red Corsair army is a balanced army making use of most of the various Chaos Space Marine plastic kits currently available. It features a good mix of troops and tanks with a few extra units added in to give it some more flavour and a lot more punch.

ARMY STRENGTHS

The strength of this army lies in its ability to deal with a variety of different foes. It has plenty of shots from the Chaos Space Marine squads and Predator to deal with horde armies such as Orks or Tyranids but still retains a good amount of anti-tank ability in the Obliterators, power fists, and lascannon.

ARMY WEAKNESSES

While this army is balanced enough to fight any list with a reasonable chance of success, a particularly focused army, for example a shooting-orientated Tau army or a swarm Tyranid force, would give you a tough time.
