WEAPON PLATFORM

Although they have no effect in the game, we thought it would be fun to make some heavy weapon emplacements. The idea was that as the invasion force took control of an area, the Havoc squads would set up weapon batteries to ward off intruders. The design is based on spare parts from the Chaos Defiler and gives the impression of scuttling weapon platforms. Sometimes, it's just fun to model things that look cool whether there's a rule for them or not!

BROKEN IMPERIAL EAGLE

What better example of the galaxy in flames than the symbol of the Imperium thrown down and shattered. We carved the eagle from wood resin as one complete piece. Once this was done, we set about breaking it and mounting it on a base. Then, we painted it to match the rest of the terrain and, voilà, a ruined symbol of the false Emperor.
