RUINED STATUE

The ruined statue was actually built from a copy of a "3-up" Space Marine (a resin casting that is three times the size of the final model, which GW produces as a part of the model production process). We then used a bit of green stuff and repositioning to get the pose shown above. We made the plinth from wall sections of the 40K building kits. Whilst we are fortunate to be able to use "3-ups" (in this case, we wanted to accentuate the scale of Imperial statuary) you can use an old miniature to a similar effect, or one from the Inquisitor range!
