Time to go Vertical
GETTING YOUR GAMES OFF THE GROUND

Fighting in cities adds the vertical dimension to your Warhammer 40,000 battles. We thought we'd build some terrain to let our troops explore new heights.

An Eldar Ranger takes aim from a lofty perch in an urban battlefield.

T he one thing that a cityfight almost always adds to your games of Warhammer 40,000 is the vertical dimension. Your troop movements are no longer limited to just left, right, forward, or back. Now, enemies can appear from above and below, and you can use the same tricks against them.

Of course, three-dimensional cityfight gameplay depends on urban scenery that is built in a way that will let your models move and fight vertically. The new Cities of Death plastic building ruins can be assembled to give your table this dimension. However, you can also add specific projects to these buildings to maximise your off-the-ground 40K gameplay. Watch your step!
