Inside the City
A LOOK AT WHAT'S IN THE NEW EXPANSION BOOK

The new 80-page expansion book is chock-full of fun gaming rules and hobby projects. Here, we look at what you can expect in the book.

Eighty pages. That's how many are in the new Cities of Death expansion book, and each one is jammed with exciting gaming ideas and fun hobby projects. Fighting in the cities of the 41st millennium will take your games of Warhammer 40,000 to a whole new level, and this book gives you the rules and gaming guidelines you need to do it. Plus, Cities of Death is crammed with hobby content. Before we get to that, though, let's look through a few sample pages that show how this book will help you expand Warhammer 40,000 into the brutal gaming environment of the urban combat zone. Here, only the strong survive... and those who use the city terrain and stratagems to their advantage.

DEFINING TERRAIN

USING CITY RUINS

This section explains the different categories of terrain and gives you rules covering each one. Deciding what terrain counts as what before your game starts will make it a lot more fun for both you and your opponent.

ORGANISING A CITYFIGHT

CITYFIGHTING MISSIONS

Setting up your cityfight battles takes a little more organisation than your average 40K game. These pages walk you through the steps from force selection to table set-up to deployment. All without arguing with your opponents.
