Pray They Don't Take You Alive
GETTING STARTED WITH THE DARK ELDAR

The Dark Eldar inhabit a realm called Commorragh, a place as darkly twisted as its rulers. From this lair they launch piratical raids across the length and breadth of the Warhammer 40,000 galaxy.

The purpose of these raids is not to conquer planets or protect territory, but to cause mayhem, steal, pillage, and – most importantly – capture new victims to be taken back to Commorragh. What happens to these captives once they are in the cruel clutches of the Dark Eldar is best not considered.

Urien Rakarth, Master HaemonculusCollecting, painting, and fielding a brand new army for Warhammer 40,000 may seem a bit daunting at first. Fear not! On the following pages, you'll find a bunch of useful information on how to assemble your models and then give them a basic paint job with a minimal number of colours. There's even a fun scenario you can play using just a few models. This way you can start playing right away as you gradually amass your army.

It's time to get started, so gather your clippers, glue, and paints. Armies don't paint themselves you know!
