From the mercenary warbands of Tilea, to the brutish Ogres from the east, these bands of warriors live by fighting – fighting for pay, fighting for adventure and, most importantly of all, fighting for the chance to gain fabulous wealth. To the north of the Empire lies the land known as Kislev, the first bastion of men to defend against the forces of Chaos that pours from the Northern Wastes. Sometimes these warriors will fight with a few allied regiments from the Empire, but normally they would face the force of Chaos on their own, or until help arrives.

Great beasts and monsters roam the Old World causing havoc to small villages and decimating crops and livestock from the surrounding countryside. Sometimes they can be tamed enough for heroes to ride into battle, and cause fear and terror in the hearts of their foes.

Siege engines and equipment are a necessary tool for any general wishing to storm a fortress or castle, for only a fool would charge a well-defended castle without the aid of siege equipment and towers.

We've laid the range out to take into account the different facets of the Dogs of War, Ogre Kingdoms and Kislev armies. All the Dogs of War are in one section, for example, with Lords and Heroes followed by Core units and then Special units finishing off with Rare units. The same goes for the Ogres as laid out in Warhammer Armies: Ogre Kingdoms and the Kislevites.
