GIANT SET-UP

Since the Ogres were attacking the Giant camp by surprise, Nathan had very little space to deploy his Giants. The scenario gives the Giant player only a 12" x 12" area in the centre of the 6' wide table edge.

Nathan placed his four Giants as close to Dave's Ogres as possible. He did, however, face his leftmost and rightmost Giants slightly askew. This placement may have tipped Dave off to Nathan's plan and affected Dave's deployment.

OGRES SET-UP

Dave set up a large portion of his Ogre army on the right flank and allocated none of his units to the left. His right side was led by his Bruiser general, a unit of three Bulls, and a block of Gnoblars, twenty strong.

Dave deployed his remaining Ogres along the main table edge. Maneaters, Ironguts, and a deadly Hunter protected this board edge from any Giants wishing the flee the scene from this outlet.
