Dwarfen Warrior

Now that you have Warhammer Armies: Dwarfs and your first regiment almost ready for the tabletop, what do you do next? Is this it? Has the end been reached? Oh no, dear reader, it's only just begun. First off, there's an army to build! The core army is a great place to start this task. In addition to this essential core of troops, you'll soon discover that there are plenty of other units to choose from and add to your ever-growing army. One quick look through the Army book will confirm this plethora of choices.

So where do you get more models? The most convenient route is that of the Online Store and the Dwarf Miniature Range pages found in this very section of the website. Here, you can read up on the units available to your army, see the actual models, and plan your future purchases. If the phone is more your style, you can contact our friendly and knowledgeable Direct Department instead. All without ever leaving your home!

Dwarf EngineerEventually, however, you are going to want to leave home in order to play some games. Enter your local retailer or Games Workshop Hobby Centre. Here, you can talk about your army's progression with other generals, set up games, test your mettle, and grab that extra blister pack you've been eyeing. Stores often have leagues and events that will get you involved with the hobby and introduce you to a host of other people eager to play Warhammer. To help find the store nearest you, you need look no further than our store locator. This free online tool has but one purpose: to provide a list of local stores that stock Games Workshop products and get you directions to visit the store. There is often contact info in the store locator as well so you can call ahead and see if an event is being held that afternoon.

Dwarf EngineerIn addition to going out and playing games, be sure to feed your brain everything you can about the hobby to keep up with potential opponents. Visit the website at the end of a hard day's work and pick up White Dwarf magazine as it comes out each month (or better yet, get a subscription). There's always something new for you to read about, like painting tips, scenarios, modelling techniques, new releases, sneak peeks, game winning tactics, and scenery projects... to name but a few. As you can see, there is much more to the Game Workshop hobby than you may have first thought. Good luck with your new army and may your dice roll in your favour more often than not. Now, get out there and play some Warhammer!
