War of The Beard
TRECHERY, DECIET AND BLOODY WAR

Page: 1|2

THE SCENARIOS
Scenarios 1-6 are minor battles that took place during the War of the Beard. Each focuses on a different aspect of the war, from ambushes and sieges, to last stands. They are a mix of Warhammer and Warmaster scenarios so players can get a taste of this historical event in both game systems.

While the scenarios can be played with your existing scenery, you may want to make a few scenery pieces specifically for the War of the Beard. One of the special pieces you might need is a castle for the Razing of Athel Maraya scenario. You can use an existing Warhammer Fortress, but to really get that special feel a custom made High Elf fortress would really make this scenario stand out.

THE MEGA-BATTLE
The final battle that takes place in the War of the Beard happens at the Elven city of Tor Alessi on the western coast of the Old World. Here the King of the High Elves and the Dwarfs along with the massive might of both their armies met in a titanic conflict, that only ended with the death of the High Elf king Caledor at the hand of the Dwarf king Gotrek Starbreaker.

This scenario is a pitched battle to the finish. All you have to do is line up the High Elf army on one side and the Dwarf army on the other and go at it. Here are some tips we’ve learned that make mega-battles go smoothly and keeps them a lot of fun!
