SIMPLE POSES

The basic War Walker sprues have legs that come pre-posed for action. You really don't have to mess with them to get a dynamic pose. Here, I wanted to show how you can make a War Walker look like it's really kicking up some dust as it strides toward the enemy. The weaponry is tilted back to show that those systems are off-line since all power has been diverted to the leg motors in order to make best speed. Modelling this was a simple matter of planning with a defining concept in mind. I used Blu-Tac to help me determine exactly where I should glue the legs. Getting the forward tilt down was essential to the overall pose, so I made sure to finalizse the left leg and foot joint before moving forward. The end result conveys a great sense of motion and is easy enough to be accomplished with minimal effort.
