This list totals in at 448 points, which gives you enough wiggle room on a 500-point army list to take 50 points worth of magic items on your Empire Captain. The 500-point target is a good one as you start building the "core" of your Empire army, which is a group of units that you'll field in almost every game of Warhammer, be it at 500 points or 2,000. You'll always need your "core" army, so it's a good place to start.
As you can see from the list above, each unit corresponds to an Empire boxed set. Once you draw up a list, you'll have a good idea of what Empire miniatures you'll want to get from your local Games Workshop Hobby Center, Mail Order, or the Online Store.
