THE EMPIRE PREVIEW
Page: 1|2

Empire Pistoliers, out to prove their worth in battle, open fire on the foe.
lastic is the name of the game for the new Empire models. With Citadel miniatures' new-and-improved plastic production process, they can cram a ridiculous number of bits on a sprue (as we saw with Battle for Skull Pass and Orcs & Goblins). The Empire has benefited from these new production techniques. For example, the Empire State Troops boxed set can make one of three different Core units: Spearmen, Swordsmen, or Halberdiers.
he State Troops aren't the only ones to benefit from highly versatile plastics. The Pistoliers (shown above) boxed set also makes the Outriders, the Handgunners boxed set also makes Crossbowmen, the Militia boxed set makes a Free Company or Archers, while the Artillery boxed set makes either a Great Cannon or a Mortar. Of course, that means that once you assemble one of these sets, you'll have a ton of cool bits left over to fill out your bits box. Plus (wait, there's more?), there are several amazing metal models included with this Empire release.
s
you can see, there's something in this re-release for every devotee of The Empire. If that doesn't include you, there are still a ton of cool models that will tempt any hobbyist to paint a few or borrow some new Empire bits for conversions.
