Here are the original design sketches which lead to the Empire Steam Tank. You may need a magnifying glass to get the best from these pages or click on the image to view a larger version instead. Whatever you do, it's well worth the effort. Ralph Horsley from Leeds laboured long and hard getting this together, using reference material from the sketches of Leonardo da Vinci and the like. If you were handy with welding gear, you could use these diagrams to fabricate your very own steam tank - and the frightening thing is that it might just work! (This is not a challenge!)
