GAMES DAY 2002 SEMINARS
Games Day seminars are a chance to have your questions answered by our Games Designers in a more intimate setting than the Studio area. The seminars are always the place to get the hottest rumours, gossip and secrets.
10:30 - 11:10
Miniatures Seminar
One
of our most talented designers, Gary Morley held a miniatures seminar, where
he talked about how to make miniatures, showed the stages and processes of miniatures
design, and answered your questions.
11:20 - 12:00
Black Library Seminar
Special guest Dan Abnett read a passage from his latest work in progress
and answered your questions about his novels, his inspiration and future plans.
Following this, the Black Library team talked about forthcoming publications
and plans.
12:10 - 12:50
Warhammer Seminar
Gav
Thorpe, Warhammer Loremaster, gave a presentation on forthcoming projects and
answered your questions on all matters about Warhammer Fantasy Battle. For many
hobbyists, this was the opportunity to look into the future and pick the brains
of the man who runs the Warhammer team.
13:00 - 13:40
Warhammer 40,000 Seminar
This was your chance to meet with the notorious Warhammer 40,000 Overfiend,
Andy Chambers, and hear his heretical musings on the future of the Warhammer
40,000 game, even going so far as to reveal one or two secrets as well.
13:50 - 14:30
Fanatic/Forge World Seminar
Forge World produces our range of highly detailed resin models, including
large scale resin figures and busts, Imperial Armour vehicle and aircraft kits,
Battlefleet Gothic spaceships and specialised terrain sets. Head of the Forges
himself, Tony Cottrell was in attendance, showing off upcoming models and took
your feedback on new projects.
If that wasn't enough, the folk from Fanatic were there too! Our team dedicated to developing new magazines, miniatures and supplements for games such as Blood Bowl, Mordheim, Necromunda, Battle Fleet Gothic, Warmaster, Epic and Inquisitor. Head Fanatic, Jervis Johnson showed off all the latest work and talked about things to come.
