
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Games Day is Games Workshop's premier event in the world. It is our largest promotion and a day designed to highlight the size, splendour and excitement that is our hobby.
Games Day and Golden Demon tickets are issued by Games Workshop and are subject to the following terms and conditions:
- The NEC, The NEC Arena, The NIA and The ICC are all part of The NEC Group which is a trading name of the National Exhibition Centre Ltd.
- For the comfort of all our patrons please note that smoking is not permitted in the auditorium.
- The unauthorised professional use of photographic equipment is prohibited in the auditorium. Please note that recording equipment, mobile phones and laser pens are not permitted in the Arena buildings.
- Audiences may be filmed, photographed or recorded for broadcast, security, and health and safety purposes.
- The Management reserve the right to refuse admission and may, on occasions, have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of patrons. For security purposes all bags, bulky or replica items will be searched, which may result in delays whilst entering the building.
- We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase, except in the case of a cancelled event. This does not affect your statutory rights. If you have any queries please contact your point of purchase.
- Once tickets have been purchased they cannot be sold or re-sold without the express permission of Games Workshop Ltd.
- We regret that we must reserve the right to alter or vary the event due to circumstances or events beyond our control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets. This does not affect your statutory rights.
- Patrons should be advised that official merchandise is only available inside the venue.
- You may only consume food and drink purchased on the premises. Regrettably the Building & Statutory regulations mean that we cannot allow canned or glass containers within the Arenas.
- Neither Games Workshop or The NEC accepts responsibility for personal property brought into the Centre or Arenas. Take care of all personal property brought onto the premises.
- All patrons must be in possession of a valid ticket or pass. Defaced or altered tickets or passes will become void and the holder may be refused admission.
- Food and drink that is not purchased inside the venue must be consumed in the seating area provided.
- Any complaints regarding the event should be made to Games Workshop promptly, prior to or during the event.
- The Promoter or Organiser is responsible for all aspects of the event; requests for refund should always be referred to the Promoter or Organiser.
- We suggest you check event details, timings and car park charges prior to travelling as these may be subject to change.
- The recommended minimum age for customers is 16 years old, however we will allow entry for persons between 12 and 16 when accompanied by a parent, guardian or other responsible adult.
WEARING OF COSTUMES
The wearing of costumes at Games Day is permitted only on the following basis:
- Costumes must not be comprised, in whole or in part, of any real (or realistic) equipment of any military unit in existence after 1900. This especially applies to camouflage trousers and jackets, modern helmets and any armed forces equipment.
- Costumes must not utilise, in whole or in part, any real, realistically scaled or replica weapons.
- Costumes that indicate allegiance or affiliation with any real political or military movement are strictly forbidden.
- Costumes must be designed with health and safety and public decency standards in mind.
- Costumes must not incorporate any intellectual property that is not owned by Games Workshop. Costumes inspired by Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000 or any other Games Workshop intellectual property are acceptable.
Attendees may be asked to alter or remove any unacceptable costumes and/or accessories. The Games Day UK Team reserves the right to refuse entry to any attendee dressed in an unacceptable costume.
