The Wood Elves are more lightly armoured than their High Elf cousins, but like them they are proficient with swords, spears and bows and combine their skills at arms with great bravery.
Willingly lead by their champion, Haldir, in the defence of their realm, the Wood Elves of Lothlorien would later stand side-by-side with the defenders of Helm's Deep at the start of the War of the Ring.
