In these times of trouble and warfare, all creatures of noble spirit and honest deed must unite against the shadow, lest it soon hold sway over the world entire. In Fangorn Forest the mighty Ents watch over the trees as they have done for many long millennia. In the wilds of Eriador, the Rangers of the North keep the roads safe for travellers, fulfilling a duty adopted by their line when the realm of Gondor was young. Wise and powerful Wizards walk amongst the lands, lending aid to those who require it, their power concealed by the frail forms that they wear. In the borders of the Old Forest, stranger beings yet lay their footsteps upon the ground. Though the days grow darker, in cannot be denied that while such beings still walk the ways of Middle-earth, there is still hope to be found.
