Of course, the role of the High Elves is by no means over in the Warhammer world – far from it. The Outer and Inner Kingdoms of Ulthuan can still field powerful armies of skill and magic, and their cities still outshine those of the younger races. This part of the High Elves Army book explores the character of each Elven kingdom as well as looking at the culture and beliefs of this ancient people. Lastly, this section of the Army book examines the history of each Phoenix King, be it tragic or hopeful.

THE FORCES OF ULTHUAN

he next 30 pages of the book look at each of the units and mighty heroes who stand in defence of Ulthuan and the Everqueen. Each unit entry gives the character and background of that warrior or group of warriors, along with gaming statistics and special rule descriptions. Everything you need to know about the essence of a High Elf army can be found in this section.

In "The Chronicles of the Phoenix Kings," each King's adventures tell the story of the High Elves.	"The Forces of Ulthuan" section describes each High Elf unit in full, inspiring detail.
