CHARACTERFUL HIGH ELF SPEARMEN UNIT CHAMPIONS (SENTINELS)
Sentinel 1: This first Sentinel shows how a simple shield swap can help distinguish a unit champion from the rest of the rank and file. Just clip it out, build a model from the Spearmen plastics, and pop it in place. The shield was taken from the Lord sprue.
Sentinel 2: The second Sentinel pictured features a head swap from the Mage sprue and a cape from the Lord sprue. These simple additions work fluidly with the Spearmen plastics to create a nice, dynamic pose. The shield was taken from the Silver Helms plastics.
Sentinel 3: The last Sentinel has been give the large ornate spear from the Lord sprue. This definitely helps distinguish the model from the rest of the unit. The head is from the Mage sprue, the shield from the Silver Helms, and the sword in its scabbard is from the Lord sprue.

USING LORD/MAGE SPRUE BITS TO MAKE NOBLES AND SENTINELS
Noble 1: Modelling isn't limited to projects involving plastic on plastic. This metal High Elf Hero has been fitted with the sword from the plastic Lord sprue. A little careful shaving helped the plastic bit meld in with the rest of the model. Now you have a unique Hero model for your army.
Sentinel 1: This Sentinel features the unused metal arm from Noble 1 above. The metal sword arm was carefully fitted to a spearmen's plastic arm. Then a head was taken from the Mage sprue and a shield from the Silver Helms sprue. This is a great example of getting the most form your models by using the spare pieces from various modelling projects.
Noble 2: This Noble is another example of using metal and plastic together. By swapping the standard arm from the Lord sprue with the metal one, you get a unique army standard bearer.
Sentinel 2: Much like Sentinel, this model takes the unused metal arm from Noble 2 along with bits from the Lord and Silver Helm sprues to create a cool looking Sentinel model.
