TACTICS FOR FIGHTING AGAINST HIGH ELVES
For adversaries of the High Elves, the new army book is sure to create some headaches. However, we take a look at some of the tactics that can be employed to defeat the High Elves in battle.

ithin the courts of Ulthuan, there is a stirring of excitement. Seasoned High Elf generals are preparing to unleash all manner of new tactics upon the enemy. Throughout the rest of the Warhammer world, worried Orc Warbosses, vexed Vampires and concerned Champions of Chaos are looking to their own warriors with a trepidation born of the unknown.
The new High Elf Army book has had a significant impact on the style of play that High Elf generals will now use. Infantry armies, featuring regiments of Spearmen and Archers, are becoming commonplace, and new, devious tactics are emerging. Lots of units within the army have seen a significant improvement upon their old abilities, and the addition of two entirely new units to the army, along with several new (or very old, but returning) special characters give even seasoned Warhammer players pause for thought.
So, what I present here is the boiled-down experience gained from a lot of games played both with and against the new High Elf Army book. With any luck, it'll help you through your first few clashes against them until you come up with tricks of your own.Next: But... They All Strike First!
