GETTING STARTED WITH
HORDES OF CHAOS
Assembling, Painting, and Playing. We take you through the steps of mustering an army of the Northern Wastes: from assembling to playing, with a sample army list to get you started.
From the twisted realm of the Chaos Wastes come legions of warriors and monstrosities devoted to the four Ruinous Powers. Led by Champions and Daemons of Chaos, these forces will not rest until the entire Warhammer world is laid to ruin and under the sway of the Dark Gods. To this end, a Hordes of Chaos army is replete with brutal fighters in a variety befitting Chaos, making for an unpredictable-but-lethal foe.
Collecting, painting, and fielding a brand-new army for Warhammer may seem a bit daunting at first. Fear not! On the following pages, you'll find a bunch of useful information on how to assemble your models and then give them a basic paint job with a minimal number of colours. There's even a fun scenario you can play with only the contents of the new plastic Chaos Warriors regimental boxed set. With this scenario, you can start playing even while you gradually amass your Chaos army.
It's time to get started, so gather your clippers, glue, paints, and your copy of Warhammer Armies: Hordes of Chaos. Armies don't paint themselves you know!
