MAKING CHAOS MONOLITHS

Page: 1|2|3|4|5

NURGLE

Spewing forth foul corruption, this monolith is dedicated to the power of Nurgle. Nurgle monoliths are nasty, dripping, fetid abominations. There are so many ways to do them, but a simple hunk of rock with a grate full of tentacles ought to do the trick!

Monolith under construction The finished monolith

We cut out a cool shape from insulation foam, making sure to give it plenty of notches and other damaged areas. Then a grate was made and placed into the foam. Tentacles from a Beast of Nurgle were next jammed into the grate and glued in place. Using a soldering iron, a Nurgle symbol was burned into the foam. Now it was ready for some paint. The monolith was painted using greys and then "Nurglefied" with a few random light drybrushings of Snot Green, Vomit Brown, and Dark Angels Green. Experiment with inks and Gloss Varnish too, because nothing says Nurgle like greasy slime!
