MODELLING IMPERIAL GUARD SNIPERS
In this article Bryan Barnes takes a look at creating your own individualised sniper models for use in a Deathworld Veterans army. Snipers are no longer limited to Ratlings or Catachans in the latest incarnation of Codex: Imperial Guard. Now, Special Weapons Support squads can field sniper rifles, and the Cadian Sniper models are here to help fulfill that profile on the tabletop.
As we just said, the Cadian Sniper models are the latest to arrive on the sniper scene. However, for full-sized human snipers (sorry, Ratling fans), Catachans have been on the table for years now. This article takes a look at these Catachan snipers as a basis for converting IG snipers – obviously, they are great for Catachan armies and other non-Cadian armies. Welcome back to the jungle!
