Isengard's Finest
MODELLING AND PAINTING URUK-HAI SCOUTS

Terrifying creatures of Saruman's creation, the Uruk-hai are some of the most feared warriors of Middle-earth, all but unstoppable. In this article we look at converting and painting the Uruk-hai and throw in a few tactics to boot!

Uruk-hai Scouts ambush Riders of Rohan near the outskirts of a large forest.

The Uruk-hai warriors of Isengard serve as the main antagonists thrown against the scattered members of The Fellowship during the events of The Two Towers. As such, these brutal creatures have been treated to a host of new models in both plastic and metal for you to use for various evil ends. To celebrate all things Uruk, we've compiled a few articles that cover a broad spectrum of hobby goodness. You'll find conversions based on the Uruk-hai Scout plastics, a step-by-step painting guide to Uruk-hai, along with tactics and photos of Vraskû and Uglúk – two of Isengard's Uruk-hai Heroes.
