Lizardmen Army Book

When building a Warhammer army, the best place to begin is its respective Army book. These books are indispensable, not only providing you with the complete rules and army lists for your Lizardmen army, but also containing guides to painting, assembling, and selecting your army. Plus, you'll learn the background story of these jungle-dwelling, scaly creatures – a story you can find nowhere else.

Warhammer Armies: Lizardmen is one in a series of Warhammer Armies supplements. Each book in the series describes an army, its history, and its heroes in detail. Inside, you will find:

Armies of the Temple-Cities
A complete description of all the troops that make up the armies of the Lizardmen.

Treasures of the Lost World
A list of the magic items of the temple-cities and the powers of the remaining generations of ancient Slann Mage-Priests.

Lost Children of the Fallen Gods
An in-depth examination of the formation of the Warhammer world and the society of the Lizardmen.

The Ancients
Rules and background for two special characters: the ancient, mummified Slann Mage-Priest Lord Kroak and the powerful Saurus Scar-Leader Kroq-Gar, riding his vicious Carnosaur steed Grymloq.

Collecting and Painting Lizardmen Armies
An invaluable collection of advice and tips on how to collect and paint your Lizardmen army.

Saurus OldbloodThe Lizardmen are an ancient race, created by the godlike beings known as the Old Ones to be the guardians of the Warhammer world. The age-old civilization of the Lizardmen is based deep within the steaming jungles of Lustria and the Southlands, where their mighty temple-cities rise amid the ancient trees and cloying swamps. The bloated Slann Mage-Priests are masters of magic and the original servants of the Old Ones, and it is they who oversee the entire Lizardmen civilisation. At the heart of the Lizardmen armies are the powerful Saurus Warriors, hulking reptilian warriors spawned solely for the purpose of war. They are revered as sacred warriors of the gods – an army of Saurus Warriors dwells beneath the temples in each city, always ready to march against any foe.

Once you get the Army book in your hands, you'll need some troops to command and to form the core of your growing army. Next, take a look at the Saurus boxed set, which is the perfect place to find your first reptilian recruits.
