These armies are known as Sacred Hosts. They are rare, and apparently spawned with some great duty to perform. Scholars have attempted to examine the Sacred Hosts of those deities that the Lizardmen venerate the most. To date they have been unable to uncover more than references to other deities, such as the 'warlike' Tlanxla, the 'lost' Xholankha, Xhotl, who chooses those destined for greatness and Itzl, the god of cold-blooded beasts. Finally there is the outcast Rigg, who is not venerated by any Lizardmen at all, but whose island temple in the mouth of the Amaxon river is nonetheless attended to with great care.
