MIGHTY EMPIRES TILE GALLERY
The gallery below is just one example of how you can paint your Mighty Empire tiles. For these tiles, we started with an undercoat of Chaos Black and then a basecoat of Knarloc Green. To create the look of the forests, we used Dark Green Ink on those areas. After the ink dried, we drybrushed with Camo Green and then a second drybrush of 1:1 Camo Green and Bleached Bone. For the roads, we used a little bit of Brown Ink to line the pathways on the tiles. For the rivers, we painted them with Mordian Blue and then a highlight of Ultramarines Blue followed by a final highlight of Ice Blue. We then used Water Effects on all the water areas to make them stand out. We basecoated the mountains with Charadon Granite and then highlighted them with Dheneb Stone. Lastly, we painted the sides of the tiles with Orchide Shade.
