CONVERTING & PAINTING ARMOURED MORDOR TROLLS

Unless you happen to work for New Line or Weta, your jaw had to drop during The Return of The King when the Mordor Trolls smashed their way through the gates of Minas Tirith and into the besieged White City. These monsters truly gave the Men of Gondor a run for their money!

Mordor Troll

The metal Mordor Troll model captures these creatures perfectly. However, if you're anything like Nick Davis or Dave Taylor, you just can't have all your Trolls poised in exactly the same way. These two modelling mavens dismembered their miniatures in vicious tool-to-Troll combat and have come through the experience (mostly) unscathed. Sauron would not be pleased... or would he?

Well, enough jibber-jabber. Let's find out how they converted their one-of-a-kind armoured Mordor Trolls.
