USING OGRES IN GAMES OF
BORDER PATROL
Because the existing Border Patrol rules were not designed to facilitate small bands of large monsters Ogre Kingdoms players can find it hard to field a Patrol.
The US Studio came up with these simple rules enabling Ogre Kingdoms players to use their favourite army these quick and easy games. These rules can be used to make an Ogre Border Patrol needed to play in Against the Ogres Scenario 3: Raid the Raiders.
The following rules apply when selecting a Border Patrol force from the Warhammer Armies: Ogre Kingdoms supplement:
- You must choose an army of not more than 500 points.
- You must have a single Hero to lead the force, but the Hero may not be an Army Battle Standard Bearer.
- No single Ogre model may cost more than 155 points.
- An Ogre Butcher may lead an Ogre Border Patrol force.
- The army must consist of at least two units and no more than four units (excluding the Hero).
- You must have at least one Core choice.
- You must include at least one Core unit with a Unit Stength of 10+.
- You may take one choice of either Special or Rare Units, but not both.
- No unit may carry a magical standard.
- An army may have no more than one war machine. A unit of Ogre Leadbelchers count as a single war machine.
