Tyrants are the dominant males of each Ogre tribe. The Tyrant is generally the biggest, strongest, fiercest, and most commanding Ogre in a given area. The largest Tyrants are capable of wrestling a Giant to the ground or smashing their way through a fortified gate with their bare fists.

The post of Tyrant is not hereditary. To become the Tyrant of a given tribe, an Ogre simply has to beat the existing Tyrant in single combat. These conflicts are decided by the traditional Ogre leadership challenge known as guts-out pitfighting. Veteran survivors of such pitfights are scarred, cunning warriors of unparalleled brutality.

One Tyrant may be included in your Ogre Kingdoms army as a Lord choice. The Ogre Tyrant is one of the most potent fighters that an Ogre Kingdoms army can field, and he can handle himself well in combat against any foe – including monsters like Hydras and Dragons!
