Brief Army Overview
Having just come off the long campaign from The
General's Compendium, I had been playing with a mostly Night Goblin army.
This explains the large units of Night Goblins supported by Goblin Wolf Riders.
For muscle, besides a good dose of Fanatics, I included two Bolt Throwers, a
Chariot, and Angus, my lumbering Giant. A token unit of Orcs is there, although
they (along with my Giant) tend to attract a lot of unwanted attention (missiles,
enemy Elites). This is fine with me as they can absorb more punishment than my
Goblins and have a higher Leadership. In the campaign my Greenskins faired
pretty well, even sneaking in a last-minute (and some say "underhanded")
attempt to win it all. Not the most formidable line-up, but if Animosity goes
my way and the Fanatics are not drawn out into worthless enemy troops, then any
battle can go my way.
