NIGHT GOBLIN CONVERSIONS

In their quest to create the biggest, most evil horde of Greenskins, hobbyists from the US Studio set about building and converting the brand new Night Goblins!

The Night Goblins are back with a vengeance! Everyone's favorite (minus Dwarf players, of course), nasty little critters have received a complete overhaul. The Night Goblin sprue, shown right, is packed with 20 diminutive cave-dwelling greenskins for your Warhammer army. We're not sure how the Design Studio managed to cram that many models onto a single sprue, but Night Goblin fans will benefit from this density anyway. Meanwhile, there's the Ball and Chain Fanatic sprue. This little frame of plastic has all sorts of extra bits and bobs for making cool Fanatics.

Gobbo players are going to be amazed by the versatility of these sprues. From the Night Goblin sprue alone, you can arm your regiments of Gobbos with spears, hand weapons, short bows, or shields (fer hidin' behind). Yet, that's just if you look at the sprues the way they're supposed to be used. The more conversion-inclined hobbyists will find a wealth of possibilities among these sprues.

To show off just a few of the possibilities from these new Night Goblin sprues, we gathered a few hobbyists and asked them to build a Night Goblin command group of five models, Ball and Chain Fanatics, and Squig Herders. The only catch was that they had to use mainly the basic sprues and only a few bits from other ranges to create their Night Goblins. Check out the stuff on the following pages and see what these dense sprues are capable of yielding with a bit of creative effort.
