The Orcs & Goblins are on the move to storm the Warhammer world yet again. Find out more about their impending re-release.

Warhammer Armies:
Orcs & Goblins
Waaagh! The greenskins are back to rampage and slaughter their way across the Old World! Yes, you heard right, not only is there a new Warhammer rulebook, but in October, 2006, the new Warhammer Armies: Orcs & Goblins will hit the stands like a stampeding Orc Boar Chariot, with spiked wheels, no less.

The new Orcs & Goblins Army book contains everything you've come to expect from a top-notch Games Workshop product. In the pages of this supplement, you will find all the information you ever wanted on the history of the ferocious greenskins and volumes on the troops, monsters, heroes, and war machines of this powerful army. The army list takes all of this information and puts it into a form that allows Orc generals to easily choose and army for games of Warhammer. Last, but certainly not least, the Orcs & Goblins army book contains a huge colour section that is bound to get any tabletop wargamer excited. Dozens of photos of Citadel miniatures, colour schemes, banners, and sample armies make a nice finish to a great army book.

There are many interesting changes to the Orcs & Goblins rules and miniature range, but few are as exciting as the return of the Spider Riders. Below, for your viewing pleasure, is an exclusive look at the rules for these deadly Goblin troops.

FOREST GOBLIN SPIDER RIDERS

Forest Goblin tribes are to be found in the depths of many wooded areas, but most are concentrated in a wide forested belt south of the Empire, stretching the length of the Border Princes from Black Fire Pass in the east to Tilea in the west. These forests are full of all kinds of spiders, and the largest of these are sometimes captured and ridden. Spiders are good fighters, with mandibles like steel pincers. They are not as fast as wolves or horses, but spiders can move swiftly over obstacles or rough territory thanks to their many legs.
