ORC LEADERSHIP

To lead this army, I decided to go with the best of the best. That means a Black Orc Warboss. Putting him on a boar allows me to include him with the Orc Boar Boyz unit. I also chose a Black Orc Big Boss to put in with the Orc Boyz to help quell any outbreaks of Animosity. I also decided to include an Orc Big Boss as a Battle Standard Bearer with the Mork's Spirit Totem and a Level 2 Orc Shaman with the Idol of Mork. Both of these Hero choices will add to the dice in the dispel pool, which is great for when your fighting more magic-heavy armies.

CORE AND SPECIAL UNITS

This Army is all about Orcs, so I decided to include only those units that were made up totally of Orcs. That meant no Rock Lobbas, Spear Chukkas, Trolls, or Giants – and definitely no Gobbos. This army is all about hard-hitting Orcs. The two units of 24 Orc Boyz are the mainstay units. They're not the most powerful units, but they do their job well. Orc Arrer Boyz are another good choice for a Core unit. What these Boyz lack in shooting skill, they compensate for with their mêlée power – they have choppas as well as bows! Twenty Black Orcs play a powerhouse role in the army, as they have heavy armour and can choose whether they want to use one choppa and shield, two choppas, or a great weapon. Orc Boar Boyz are another powerhouse of this army. These Boyz are particularly deadly, as they are also Big 'Uns – the largest orcs in the tribe. A charging boar is a fearful sight with its +2 strength! Last but not least, two Orc Boar Chariots round out the list. These units are fast and also get the +2 strength bonus when charging. They're great for quickly taking out small units and war machines, though they are very vulnerable to cannon fire!
