With my troop heavy army chosen, it was time to challenge Pete Haines to combat once more. Again we fought a 1,500pt battle in a City, a strange local for the Feral Orks ('I feel all clostrafobik!'). According to the Relief Force mission Pete set up half his Catachan army in and around a building near the centre of the board, which was now the objective. This half of his army included the Command section, a couple of Fire support heavy weapons teams, and three Snipers, as well as the rest of an Infantry platoon. Pete invited me to grab that pile of rubble off him. My pleasure! The rest of his force, including his Orgyns, Sentinel, Leman Russ and Hellhound, were held off in reserve (Boo!). So all I had to do was rush the Boyz over to the building, beat up the Guardsmen inside and dig in.

I set up in a half moon shape around the objective and the mad dash for the objective ensued. Things didn't go to plan for me though. The Ork's headlong dash was reduced to a crawl by the difficult terrain. In the mean time though the Huntas showed their marksmenship as they blasted a squad of heavy bolters out of existence, as well as two jolly annoying Snipers the turn after. Pete was really sporting when I was forced to fire all twenty Huntas at one Sniper, the other only a few inches away. He said it was only fair to let the hail of shots effect both models, counting them as a small squad. They were both killed, but Pete thought that was only right. Wow, it's nice having Orks who can shoot! Unfortunately this wasn't before the Imperial Snipers had severely wounded the Squiggoth, who soon fell to a barrage of shots from all quarters.

Meanwhile the rest of the Ork army crawled forward, whilst the Imperial Guard retreated away from the building.
