THÉODEN, KING OF ROHAN
| Though now old and apparently frail, Théoden is still a great warrior at heart. He is the King of Rohan and leader of the brave race of horsemen and doughty warriors that stands between the Tower of Orthanc and Gondor. Théoden and his people have fought alone against the growing might of Saruman - and Théoden himself is threatened by the enchantments of the evil wizard. The time approaches when Rohan must fight for survival against the gathering armies of Saruman's Uruk-hai: in that battle Théoden must lead his people wisely or all shall perish beneath the might of the White Hand. |
