The jury is still out as to whose side Commander Farsight is on, but that won't keep Tau players from fielding him and his Enclave forces. Get a few ideas on how to model them here.

Commander Farsight - Hero or Villain? |
Shas'o Vior'la Shovah Kaius Mont'yr – better known as Commander Farsight – is a mystery to both the Imperium and the Tau Empire itself. This highly decorated and admired Tau hero broke off contact with his Empire and has remained a shadowy figure for years now. The debate over whether he and his forces are still even part of the Tau Empire could be argued either way depending on how you look at it.
That's pretty much the focus of this article: exploring both sides of the Farsight coin and basing some conversions on how his Enclaves might look. Bryan Barnes and I have gone through all the marginalia, text scraps, quotes, and background information on this Tau enigma to formulate two separate views of O'Shovah. One shows him as a misunderstood part of the Tau Empire; the other, a dangerous, corrupted renegade. Ultimately, it falls to you to decide for yourself who Farsight really is.
