BRUNO RIZZO'S TAU ARMY
Bruno Rizzo really went nuts on the new Tau Empire Codex. His new army, although still work in progress is a killer in every sense. At least that's what he tells us...
Bruno: Since their initial launch in 2001, the warriors of the Greater Good have been a very tempting army for me. Alas, at that time, my belonged went to the forces of Chaos, preventing me from building a Hunter Cadre. But to be honest, I was waiting for a few more shiny toys to fall under the spell of the Ethereals. Some of the miniatures I wasn't really keen on, and I felt the army list lacked some diversity. But these were soon been laid to rest by the excellent new miniatures that came out with Codex: Tau Empire.
I now had access to a superb range of miniatures with Forge World's Crisis and Citadel's new models, as well as a brand new Codex with an army list rich enought for me to build a very personal army.

In the game I always try to make my armies effective. At least they usually seem able to dish out quite a lot of damage. But I am not just a beardy git, and I try to accommodate my tactical aspirations with the miniatures I like. Believe me, it is not always easy!
To cut a long story short, I selected the models I found the most inspiring, then fiddled with the army list for quite an amount of time. Some decisions weren't easy, especially for the Heavy Support slots, but some sacrifices had to be made. Here's the result.

Colour Testing
This Fire Warrior was a test piece used to try out the colour scheme.
As it turned out some of the colours were tedious to paint on all of the troops, so only the Shas'ui had their fatigues painted Graveyard Earth. The Shas'la would wear plain black.
