The Tau of War
TAU TACTICS PART 2: THE MOVES

The first part of this guide examined the strengths and weaknesses of units of the Tau army. This final part looks at a few ways to use them for the Greater Good.

Now that you've learned about each unit in the Tau army, along with a few key items of wargear, it's time to start forming ideas for how you can use them on the field of battle. Once you have adopted one of these approaches as your own (hopefully after a little tweaking) or come up with your own, you'll want to start shaping your army list to best help your strategy. Keep in mind, though, that flexibility is often the key to victory, especially in a tournament environment when your army list is fixed through all of your games.

Before getting into specific tactical approaches, it's time to discuss some of the assumptions that underlie any strategy.
