The Fellowship of The Ring is the first part in the epic saga of The Lord of The Rings. At the end of the Second Age of Mankind, Sauron, the Deceiver, was defeated by the Last Alliance between Men and Elves. Though defeated, the Dark Lord could not so easily be destroyed. As long as the Ring of Power was allowed to exist, Sauron would return. So it is that, accompanied by friends and allies, Frodo Baggins of the Shire must embark upon the most perilous task faced by the Free Peoples of Middle-earth - to take the One Ring to the land of Mordor and there, cast it into the Cracks of Doom.
"You shall be The Fellowship of The Ring."
