The tight triangular deployment of the Ringwraiths leave little room for the Hobbits' evasion.
Seeing an out on the left flank, the Hobbits make a break for it, with the Ringwraiths hot on their tails.

Two priority wins in a row for Ty puts all the Ringwraiths within spotting distance, raising the alarm. This situation can only be bad for Ken so early in the game.
Ken sees no real option other than to run for it and hope for another priority win to put some distance between him and the Nazgûl.

But this leaves Merry vulnerable and he is subsequently cut down by a deadly Black Dart. Zzzzot!
The Ringwraiths waste no time and move as close as possible in order to tighten the noose.

Losing priority, Frodo and Sam are Transfixed while a Ringwraith steps forward. Pippin jumps into combat, but Sam still takes a Morgul Blade. Using all his Fate points, however, Sam lives to fight on.
Ty unleashes the Cry of the Nazgûl, which seriously lowers the Courage values of the Hobbits and forces Ken to abandon any hope of charging into combat. Instead, Ken presses the Hobbits towards the now-visible ferry.

Not fast enough, however. The Nazgûl still manage to outnumber Sam in combat and attack Pippin.
Sam is forced to use a Might point to win combat, while Pippin falls to a deadly servant of Sauron.

Priority goes to Ty, and he jumps all over the seemingly implacable Sam. Frodo attempts to help but fails a Courage test and stops, held frozen with Terror.
Sam puts up a good fight and drains the 1 remaining point of Will from the Ringwraiths, but he doesn't win combat and ends up on the business end of a Morgul Blade.

With Frodo left all alone, the remaining Ringwraith spends all his Will in order to cast Compel. If successful, Frodo will be forced to put on The One Ring and lose his mind!
Frodo resists the Nazgûl spell by spending his last Will point and 2 Might points. With the last Nazgûl banished, an exhausted Frodo makes it to the ferry and safety.
