FORCES OF GOOD POST-GAME CONCLUSIONS

Ken Kennedy
Ken Kennedy
Ken: I'd like to take credit for another Dúnedain victory, but I played a much smaller role than the dice did; both in Ty's poor rolls and my great ones. From the very first rolls, when I got three extra Dúnedain and only one of Ty's Nazgûl appeared, all the way to the last round of combat, fate was with me and against Ty — big time.

I knew things were going to go well for me when my first bow shot of the game miraculously took down the newly arrived second Nazgûl, and in the same round, I took out the original Ringwraith in close combat. Two down, three to go.

In the next two turns, five more Nazgûl came on and began moving across the northern board edge. As Rangers moved toward that side, Ty rocked the spells but the dice were against him and only the Ringwraiths' Will points suffered. Eventually, I got all of my Rangers over to the enemy, and I bogged Ty down. When a Ranger fell in combat, another one from the reserves appeared only a few inches from the ensuing combat. Once this cycle began, it was all over but the shouting.

In the end, the Ringwraiths had used massive amounts of their Will. The last Nazgûl to die disappeared due to lack of Will points. Hopefully this reduction will help in future adventures.
