Adventures of The Fellowship
GAMING THE BATTLES AND ENCOUNTERS OF
THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING

Playing generic one-off battles and historical scenarios in Middle-earth is a great way to test your prowess as a gamer and explore the world of J. R. R. Tolkien. However, linking battles together — with each outcome affecting the next — is a truly delightful challenge.

The One RingFor instance, suppose Boromir fell to the Goblin hordes in Moria... how would the ambush at Amon Hen have turned out without him? Luckily, The Fellowship of The Ring supplement contains a simple campaign system and 18 chronological scenarios that enable players to follow the storyline from the films and books.

Using this linked system, we'll follow a group of players as they fight their way through the scenarios, each one affecting the rest. The links below lead to separate sections devoted to the scenario in question. In these sections, you'll find an introduction to the scenario, pre-game schemes, in-game photos, and post-game reports. Players will highlight their strategies, triumphs, failures, gripes, and general thoughts on each scenario. You'll also be able to track how the Heroes on both sides fare as they grow weary from the constant toil and perhaps even perish. You might even learn a thing or two that'll make you a better general for your own games in Middle-earth.
